Import Export Code (IEC).

The ten-digit licence that lets you trade across borders.

The Import Export Code is a 10-digit licence issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce. It is mandatory for any business or individual importing goods into India or exporting goods or services from India.
